Home›Modular Buildings Insulation
From garden rooms and shipping containers to modular homes, offices, bunkers and pods — spray foam provides the precision, speed and performance that modular construction demands. Duratite’s Enverge Spray Foam systems seal every surface and void to create an air-tight, thermally robust building envelope in a fraction of the time.

Modular structures often feature shallow wall depths, metal or GRP substrates, and must be stackable, portable, or off-grid-ready. Spray foam eliminates thermal bridges, prevents air leakage, and allows every millimetre of space to be optimised — vital in compact or unconventional structures where comfort and compliance must be achieved in restricted depths.
Enverge foam bonds directly to GRP, timber, OSB, ply, concrete, steel, aluminium and more — ensuring compatibility with any modular construction method, not just SIP panels.
Providing a habitable year-round climate with superior energy efficiency and acoustic privacy.
Controlling internal temperature swings and preventing condensation on steel walls and ceilings.
Improving thermal performance, moisture resistance, and fast installation turnaround.
Delivering complete vapour resistance and stable thermal conditions in below-grade applications.
Ensuring air-tight, regulation-compliant insulation that holds up during transport and stacking.
Direct bond to GRP, timber, OSB, ply, concrete, steel and aluminium — compatible with any modular construction method.
Sucraseal is especially suited to internal applications, providing breathable insulation for pods, studios, classrooms and utility cabins.
Spray foam installs in a matter of hours. Once applied, it expands rapidly to fill every void, adheres to the substrate, and cures in minutes. This removes the need for cutting boards, using fixings or taping joints.
That makes it ideal for off-site manufacture, where time is tight and precision essential. Foam remains fixed in place during transit and stacking, and does not slump or degrade over time. The result is a high-performance modular envelope that arrives ready for plug-and-play finishing.
Both Enverge spray foams are rated Euroclass E, and must be protected to achieve compliance for habitable spaces: lined with 12.5 mm plasterboard or non-combustible lining boards, or coated with DC315 intumescent paint achieving Euroclass B-s2,d0 classification.
This is critical for any modular structure seeking sign-off from Building Control or insurance authorities.

Especially containers and underground units. Spray foam stops air ingress and regulates vapour movement — and Duratite professionally models every project using WUFI Pro and BuildDesk to ensure compliant hygrothermal performance and prevent mould growth, trapped moisture or interstitial condensation.
Acts as a built-in vapour control layer, preventing condensation risk inside cold or humid structures.
Used with an appropriate smart membrane or VCL, provides a breathable solution with full moisture modelling support.
