Yes. Once cured (typically overnight) the membrane is inert and food-safe. Many of our installations are above silage clamps, dairy parlours, grain stores and meal rooms. We supply documentation suitable for farm quality assurance audits.
Yes. GacoFlex S42 is mould, algae and moss resistant. Annual visual inspection is recommended on agricultural roofs because of bird traffic, but in normal use the silicone surface sheds debris through rainfall and does not require routine cleaning.
