Closed-cell Enverge spray foam for barns, livestock housing, grain and potato stores, poultry houses and steel-frame farm buildings. It stops condensation dripping onto stock and crops, holds warmth, and stiffens ageing roofs — sprayed from inside, with no roof strip-off, by one Ireland-wide team.

Cold metal and fibre-cement farm roofs sweat. That moisture drips onto livestock, bedding, feed, grain and machinery, and it rusts the sheeting from beneath. Closed-cell spray foam bonds straight to the underside of the roof and steelwork, warms the surface above dew point and seals the air movement that carries the moisture — so the drips stop and the building holds its heat. It is applied from inside, with no roof to strip off, and searched for as “farm building insulation” or “barn spray foam”.

Warms cold roof sheeting and seals air movement so drips stop falling onto stock, feed and machinery.
A warmer, drier building holds heat in livestock housing — ventilation stays designed for the stocking.
Keeps grain, potato and produce stores dry and temperature-stable, protecting quality in store.
A continuous air-tight layer cuts heat loss through the roof and envelope of heated buildings.
Rigid closed-cell foam bonds to and can stiffen tired profiled sheet and steel frames.
Sprayed from inside around livestock, harvest or storage — no roof strip-off, building keeps working.

Book a survey →Over-sheeting is an external re-roof. Board and bubble-foil have to be cut, fitted and fixed around every purlin. Closed-cell spray foam is sprayed from inside, so the sheeting stays where it is and the building keeps working around the install.
Most barns are sprayed in a day or two depending on size and access, planned around stock, harvest or storage.
Sprayed around livestock, harvest and storage — no scaffolding-heavy strip-out, no skips, no weeks of closure.

| What matters on a farm building | RECOMMENDEDClosed-cell spray foamEnverge Nexseal LE | Board / bubble-foil / over-sheetingTraditional routes |
|---|---|---|
| Condensation control | Warms the sheet and seals air movement — drips stop | Foil sags and traps moisture; board leaves gaps |
| Fits corrugated & irregular roofs | Follows every profile, purlin and curve | Slow to cut and fit; poor on curves |
| No roof strip-off | Applied from inside — roof stays on | Over-sheeting is an external re-roof |
| Vermin & sagging | Solid; stays put, no nesting voids | Loose quilt and foil sag and harbour vermin |
| Stiffens ageing steel frames | Bonds to and can stiffen profiled sheet | No structural contribution |
| Install around livestock/harvest | Fast, from inside, planned around the farm | More handling, fixings and disruption |
The foam and any finish are matched to the roof sheeting and how the building is used. Download the technical data sheet for each system — we specify the right one for your building and roof sheeting.

The usual agricultural choice and the core farm system: a rigid, moisture-resistant closed-cell foam that insulates and air-seals farm roofs, walls and steelwork, and suits corrugated metal, fibre-cement and steel-frame farm roofs.

A dense, high-durability closed-cell foam with a tough, peck-proof finish — specified for poultry sheds, livestock housing and hard-working farm buildings where birds and stock can reach the foam.
