Commercial & industrial spray foam

One application that solves heat, condensation and air leakage

Closed-cell commercial spray foam insulation bonds straight to the roof, walls or soffit and seals the gaps that rigid board and mineral-wool batts leave behind. For a working building that means fewer condensation drips, lower energy loss and a tighter envelope — installed from inside, with no roof strip-off. It is also searched for as “spray on insulation” or an “insulation sprayer” job.

  • Stops condensation on profiled metal and steel roofs
  • Cuts energy loss with a continuous air-tight layer
  • Fits live operations — applied bay by bay or out of hours

Why operators choose spray foam

Six reasons it wins on commercial buildings

Energy cost reduction

A continuous air-tight layer cuts heat loss through the roof and envelope.

Condensation control

Warms cold surfaces and seals air movement to stop drips on metal roofs.

Fire options

Can be overcoated to achieve a Euroclass B rating where a fire spec is wanted.

Structural stiffness

Rigid closed-cell foam bonds to and can stiffen profiled roofs and panels.

Zero downtime

Applied around live operations, out of hours or bay by bay.

25-year warranty

Nexseal LE material warranty, backed by a Duratite workmanship warranty.

Closed-cell vs the alternatives

Why closed-cell spray foam wins

What matters
RecommendedClosed-cell spray foam
Rigid board / mineral wool
Air-tightness
Continuous seal across profiles and penetrations
Joints and gaps at every board edge
Condensation control
Warms the surface and seals air movement
Can trap moisture if detailed poorly
Irregular & complex roofs
Follows any profile, curve or purlin
Slow to cut and fit; poor on curves
Adds stiffness
Bonds to and can stiffen profiled sheet
No structural contribution
Install around live ops
Applied bay by bay, often out of hours
More handling, fixings and disruption
Roof strip-off
None — applied from inside
Often required to re-insulate
The systems we install

Specified to your building

The foam and finish are matched to the substrate and how the building is used.

Nexseal LE — closed-cell

The usual choice for commercial work: a rigid, moisture-resistant foam that seals air leakage and suits metal roofs, steel frames and cold stores.

Sucraseal — open-cell

An open-cell spray foam option for projects that suit a lighter, more vapour-open build-up — specified where it is the better fit.

Euroclass B fire option

Where a fire rating is wanted, the foam can be overcoated with an intumescent coating to achieve a Euroclass B reaction-to-fire rating.

Products & data sheets

The Enverge spray foam range

Download the technical data sheet for each system — we specify the right one for your building and substrate.

Enverge Nexseal LE Closed-cell

The core commercial system: a spray-applied, two-component closed-cell foam that insulates and air-seals roofs, walls and soffits. Rigid and moisture-resistant, and can be overcoated (e.g. DC315) to achieve a Class 1 / Euroclass B fire rating.

Enverge Sucraseal Open-cell

A spray-applied, two-component open-cell foam for insulating and sealing walls, ceilings and interior spaces where a lighter, more vapour-open build-up suits the project.

Data sheet (PDF)

Enverge ToughFoam Closed-cell

A tougher, higher-durability closed-cell spray foam for more demanding commercial and industrial substrates. See the data sheet for full properties.

Data sheet (PDF)

Enverge Profill — Closed Cell Poured-in-place

A poured-in-place closed-cell foam for filling cavities, voids and hard-to-reach spaces where a spray application is not practical.

Data sheet (PDF)

Enverge Profill — Open Cell Poured / open-cell

A poured or injected open-cell fill for cavities and voids where a softer, more vapour-open fill is specified.

Ask Duratite
What is commercial spray foam insulation?

A spray-applied closed-cell insulation installed to the roof, walls or soffit of a commercial or industrial building to control heat loss and condensation and seal air leakage.

How much does commercial spray foam cost?

It is priced from a site survey because area, thickness, access, condensation risk and any fire overcoat all change the specification. The survey gives a fixed-price quote.

Open-cell or closed-cell for commercial buildings?

Duratite usually specifies Enverge Nexseal LE closed-cell foam because it is rigid, air-sealing and moisture-resistant. Sucraseal open-cell is used where a lighter, more vapour-open build-up suits the project.

Does spray foam stop condensation on a metal roof?

Closed-cell foam on the underside of a profiled metal roof warms the internal surface and seals air movement, a common way to control condensation drips.

Can commercial spray foam achieve a fire rating?

Where a fire rating is wanted, the foam can be overcoated with an intumescent coating to achieve a Euroclass B reaction-to-fire rating. It is an option specified to the building, not always required.

Can it be installed while the building stays in use?

Most commercial installs are planned around live operations, bay by bay or out of hours, so the building keeps working.

What warranty comes with commercial spray foam?

Nexseal LE closed-cell foam carries a 25-year material warranty, and a Duratite installation is backed by a workmanship warranty.

Is spray foam the same as “spray on insulation”?

Yes. “Spray on insulation” and “insulation sprayer” are everyday terms for spray foam insulation.

Do you provide installers near me?

Duratite covers Ireland and Northern Ireland, with one team handling the survey, specification, install and warranty wherever your building is.

Which buildings can Duratite spray foam?

Warehouses, factories, steel and portal-frame units, hangars, cold stores, soffits, roofs, shipping containers, modular buildings and more.
