Yes. Works are external and we agree exclusion zones around MOT bay doors at the start of each day. MOT bookings continue normally throughout the project. We do not work directly above an open MOT bay during a vehicle test.
Customer parking is moved to an agreed area outside the work zone and a visible barrier system is installed each day. Drop sheets are used over the work zone where overspray risk exists. We carry full public liability cover and document protection on every job.
Most main dealer audits accept GacoFlex S42 encapsulation as a recognised solution for asbestos cement roofs and we provide the warranty and asbestos regulations sign-off pack in a format suitable for franchise audit files. Manufacturers vary on visual finish requirements — we are happy to confirm with your franchise team in advance.
Application is brush-and-roller and limited-spray under controlled wind conditions, with masking and drop sheets on demand. Customer vehicles are not parked under live work zones. Any risk is covered under our public liability and works insurance.
A 2-bay commercial garage with around 400m² of roof typically takes 2–3 working weeks weather-permitting, including lap repair, rooflight replacement and full GacoFlex S42 application. Larger fleet depots scale linearly.
