Home›Anti-Condensation Spray Foam
Closed-cell spray foam that permanently eliminates condensation, sweating and dripping on metal, corrugated, steel, tin and asbestos roofs — in any commercial building. Warehouses • factories • hangars • agricultural • sports halls • asbestos roofs.

Condensation on a commercial roof is not a leak — it’s physics. Warm internal air rises and meets the cold underside of an uninsulated metal, corrugated, steel, tin or asbestos cement roof. As soon as the surface temperature drops below the dew point, water vapour condenses into liquid and runs down the underside of the sheet, dripping onto stock, machinery, electronics, vehicles, livestock or production lines.
The colder the night and the warmer the building, the more dramatic the dripping the next morning. Anti-drip paint, condensation mesh and blanket insulation can mask it temporarily — but only closed-cell spray foam stops the physics.
Sprayed from inside the building onto the underside of the existing roof, Enverge Nexseal LE bonds molecularly to corrugated metal, box profile, standing seam, asbestos cement and timber substrates. There is no roof replacement, no overcladding and no external work — and the result carries a 25-year manufacturer-backed product warranty.
Three conditions cause every dripping commercial roof. Spray foam neutralises all three at once.
Single-skin steel, tin, corrugated metal and asbestos cement sheets all have very low thermal mass. Underside surface temperature drops to within a degree of outside air overnight.
Heating, machinery, livestock, vehicles and even people generate vapour that rises to the roof. As soon as it touches a sub-dew-point surface, it condenses.
Dripping water damages stock, electronics, machinery, paintwork and packaging. Long-term it accelerates corrosion of fixings, purlins and roof sheets — shortening building life.
Spray foam neutralises every condition that causes a metal roof to drip — permanently, with one application.
The foam is a powerful thermal insulator (lambda 0.027 W/m·K). The underside of the cured foam stays at room temperature — warm air can never reach a cold enough surface to condense. The dew-point problem is eliminated by physics, not by management.
Closed-cell foam at 25mm thickness has a vapour permeability so low it functions as a built-in vapour control layer (VCL). Moisture in the air physically cannot reach the cold metal substrate above. No separate VCL membrane required.
Spray-applied Nexseal LE bonds molecularly to corrugated metal, box profile, standing seam, asbestos cement and timber substrates. The cured foam adds rigidity to ageing single-skin roofs that have become brittle or rattly over decades.
Whatever building you own, manage or specify, the same closed-cell anti-condensation system applies. Click through to the dedicated sector page for application details and a free survey.

Single-skin or insulated metal warehouse roofs that drip onto stock, racking and forklift routes. Stop the dripping, protect the inventory.

Production-floor condensation onto machinery, electronics and finished goods. Same closed-cell system applied to factory and industrial roofs.

Dairy parlours, livestock sheds, grain stores and machinery barns. Stops dripping onto stock, animals and feed; raises productivity in cold-month dairy and poultry.

Critical: condensation drips onto aircraft, avionics and tooling. Spray foam protects multimillion-pound assets and stabilises hangar humidity.

Clear-span buildings with exposed metal roofs that condense over playing surfaces. Eliminate court-side drips and slip hazards.

Eliminate condensation AND encapsulate the asbestos in one application. No asbestos disturbance — two problems solved with a single closed-cell pass.
Architects, specifiers and building control demand numbers. Here are the certified properties of the closed-cell system installed through the Duratite approved installer network.

| Tensile (substrate adhesion) | ~167 kPa (independent pull-off test mean) |
| Reaction to fire | Class E (when uncoated); upgrade to BS 476 Class 1 with DC315 intumescent |
| Service life | Matches the host roof — no re-application needed |
| Warranty | 25-year manufacturer-backed product warranty |
| Performance basis | Manufacturer-declared values to BS EN 14315-1 |
Nexseal LE performance — thermal, durability and substrate adhesion — is declared to BS EN 14315-1. Suitable for inclusion in warranty-backed specifications.
At 25mm thickness or greater, closed-cell foam is impermeable to water vapour — eliminating the need for a separate VCL membrane in the build-up.
Sprays direct to box profile, standing seam, Big 6, Big 3, cement fibre and structural timber. No mechanical fixings, no penetrations through the roof skin.
Where exposed to occupied space and a Class 1 surface spread of flame is required, the foam is overcoated with DC315 intumescent — tested to BS 476 Part 7 Class 1.
No ambiguity, no provisional sums, no surprise extras on installation day.
A Duratite surveyor visits, measures the roof, identifies substrate (metal, asbestos, cement fibre), checks access and confirms internal use of the building.
You receive a fixed-price quote for the complete installed system with target U-value, foam depth, application drawings and warranty terms. Approved by your insurer / building control if required.
Manufacturer-trained approved installers spray Enverge Nexseal LE to every ridge, trough, purlin and fixing. Full RAMS and dust-control. Building stays operational where possible.
You receive a completion pack with thickness verification, datasheets, certificates of conformity and a 25-year manufacturer-backed product warranty.
Three recent installations across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Same closed-cell system, same dripping-roof problem, same permanent fix.

3,200 m² box-profile metal roof dripping onto pallet racking. 30mm Nexseal LE applied across two weekends with the warehouse remaining live.

Single-skin steel hangar with persistent winter condensation onto avionics workshops. Spray foam stabilised humidity and stopped corrosion of stored aircraft.

Cement-fibre Big 6 roof dripping onto machinery. One application encapsulated the asbestos AND eliminated condensation — two compliance issues solved.
Many products claim to stop roof condensation. Only closed-cell spray foam actually addresses the physics. Here’s how the options stack up.
| Method | Stops Condensation | Insulation Value | Vapour Barrier | Service Life |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Closed-Cell Spray Foam | Permanently | High — λ 0.027 W/m·K | Integral | 25+ years |
| Anti-Drip Paint | Temporary, peels | None | No | 2–5 years |
| Anti-Condensation Mesh / Net | Catches drips, doesn’t stop them | None | No | 5–10 years |
| Blanket / Quilt Insulation | Often slumps, traps moisture | Variable, degrades | Requires separate VCL | 10–20 years |
| Roof Replacement / Overclad | If insulated correctly | Variable | Yes if specified | 25+ years |
